We are a group of people who enjoy reading plays, but not actually learning lines and acting, and we do this in a congenial and uncritical atmosphere. Plays are decided by the group and range from classics to modern comedies. We entertain each other (and the library staff!) in the comfort of the library, and in the summer we may be able to sit outside in the garden. No exceptional reading skills are required, but the ability to reproduce regional or class accents can be very impressive and amusing.
