Joining Chepstow u3a

These options are given in more detail below but it essential that you always complete a Membership Form. If you join on-line you complete this on-line, otherwise it is completed manually.
Membership is £12.00 and runs for twelve months from 1st April to 31st March the following year. For new members who join between January and March membership lasts until March the following year.
You will pay a reduced rate of £8.50. This is called Associate Membership. When joining or renewing as an Associate Member please tell us the name of your other u3a. You have to be a member of Chepstow u3a to attend any of our activities.
You are allowed to try out a Group or come to a Tuesday Live or a Coffee Morning before you decide if you want to join us. After two visits you must decide if you want to become a member.

- At one of our Tuesday Live and Coffee Mornings by Credit or Debit card or by cheque
- By Post with a cheque

When You Become a Member
You can join any of our 70+ Activity Groups and come to our free monthly Tuesday Live or Coffee Mornings.
Some of our Groups do charge if they incur costs such as hiring a venue or a speaker or arrange visits to places of interest or performances such as the AwayDays and Theatre Groups. Others are free such as our Cycling and Walking groups. Go to our Groups page and contact the Group Leader of the individual Group you are interested in for more details

How Do I Join Chepstow u3a?
On-Line
This is the easiest and quickest way and is a two stage process;
- You will first be asked to enter you personal details on-line
- Then you will then pay for your membership by credit or debit card, also on-line.
You MUST complete both stages on-line for your membership to be accepted.
This will not cost you anything other than your Membership Subscription
At a Tuesday Live or Coffee Morning
or by Post
- With a credit/debit card or cheque at our monthly Tuesday Live or Coffee Morning
- Or with a cheque by post
- In both cases the membership form has to be completed manually
- Download one of the above Membership Forms or get one at a Tuesday Live or Coffee Morning.
- Complete the form with your details and tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK tax payer.
- Take it to a Tuesday Live or Coffee Morning where you can pay by credit/debit card or by cheque.
- Alternatively, send the completed form and cheque to the Membership Secretary, details at the bottom of the page.
- Cheques should be payable to Chepstow u3a.
Renewing Your Membership
- Membership runs from 1st April to 31st March the following year
- You can renew your membership from the 1st of January onwards.
- If you have not renewed by the 31st May your membership will lapse and you will not be able to attend any u3a activities, unless and until you subsequently renew.
- If you re-join at a later date, you will have to complete a new membership form.
Membership Renewal Options
- By Bank Transfer. Using the bank details provided on the right hand side. Over 80% of our members use this option.
- By Standing Order. Please remember to update the amount if there has been a change in membership fee.
- By credit/debit card or cheque.At a Tuesday Live or Coffee Morning
