Refunds Policy

  • If Chepstow u3a cancels an event
    • The full amount paid by a member will be refunded if unless they choose to take up any alternative offered.
  • If a member has to cancel their booking
    • Chepstow u3a is not in a position to refund any money that cannot be recovered from a booking for a theatre, hotel, coach, AwayDays visit, etc.
    • When members book for the visit or event they must decide for themselves if they want to take the risk of cancellation.
    • Members should consider travel insurance for those costs which are not reimbursed.
    • However, we will make every effort to reimburse the member for any costs which can be avoided or reimbursed by the suppliers, e.g. for items such as entrance tickets, venue bookings, hotel bookings etc., as long as this does not affect the viability of the event.
