Directions: from Chepstow go down the A466 towards Tintern. When in Tintern turn left by the Wye Valley Hotel onto Trelleck Road. Continue up the hill and at the T-junction, opposite is the Whitestone car park turn left. Take the Llandogo Road for approx 2 miles. Turn right on to Beacon Road. Ignore the Beacon View car park and continue for another half mile to the Beacon Hill car park.

The walk is approx 2.9 miles and 259ft of elevation. Nearly all of the walk is on forest tracks apart from one section, which could be a little muddy. Great views down the Wye Valley. Leaves should be turning so could be good photo opportunity.
