This Group is for those who love Opera and those who wish to know more about it. We meet on Zoom and use OperaVision to watch our chosen Opera.
OperaVision is an EU Creative programme showing Operas from companies across Europe. It is available on YouTube. Members choose an Opera to watch at their leisure on line which we then discuss at our next meeting.

The Seven Deadly Sins was the opera we watched in June. A production from Opera North. Meet Anna and Anna: one person, two personalities!

Donazetti's La Fille du Regiment was our choice for May. Billed as a glorious comedy, it lived up to its hype!

The Opera watched in April was Janacek's Osud (Destiny).

Marriage of Figaro by Mozart was this month's Opera.

The Opera watched this month was, The Time of our Singing - by Kris Defoort - from Brussels’s Opera House.

The Opera we watched was Il Trovatore by Verdi. This was a performance by Teatro Dell Opera Di Roma from the Circo Massimo.
