We allow an hour and a half discussion on ‘philosophy’. In practice we probably get an hour on philosophy, the rest being purely social chitchat. Our discussions are facilitated by a philosophical book!

Whether we obtain enlightenment is uncertain, but we certainly have lively discussions because a contrary view to any opinion is always found by at least one of our number (often all of us). We are an inclusive, friendly, courteous group where all opinions are treated with respect. The aim is for a thoughtful fun meeting with more laughs than is strictly appropriate.
