The ability to capture, edit and store photographic images has never been so accessible. Smartphones and tablets, and moderately priced cameras produce a quality of photos unimaginable earlier in our lifetimes. Our group explores and helps enhance our competence to exploit our equipment, however modest it may be and however limited our experience. All people interested (or just curious) about photography are welcomeThe group ranges from “happy snappers” to serious “shooters”, be it using a mobile phone, to others, competent behind the lens of the latest full-frame mirrorless cameras. 

Our general approach is to identify a topic and share our efforts with the group. We bring a small selection of images on an agreed topic to each meeting to share and learn from feedback to enhance our skills in a friendly, supportive exchange.Throughout the year, we make a number of field trips in this area, to capture images of the location. Other times we invite a professional photographer to share their expertise and experience, either as a talk or as a ‘hands-on’ workshop to help you develop your skills, in a supportive, enjoyable and inclusive environment.
