We look at the large amount of statistical Information that is increasingly being disseminated by governments, researchers, journalists and others. Our aim is to dentify and study this data critically in order to better understand our society and the changes that are taking place.

In our meetings we expect to cover many different things such as health, education, inequality, happiness and well-being. We will, of course, keep an eye on Coronavirus and especially the public inquiry on Covid 19 that is now in progress. If you are interested in getting a better understanding of our society and how it is changing, do come along and join us.

Prior knowledge of statistics and mathematical expertise are certainly not required, just an interest in the data and what it has to say.

If you would like to join us or simply want to find out more, please contact the Group Leader.
