Wine Appreciation Group 4 meets monthly. Members take turns to host and choose the wines. We usually taste 4, or maybe 5 wines, including reds, whites and the occasional rosè, and sparkling wine. Members bring nibbles and these are pooled to have as a buffet with any remaining wine after the tasting.

We taste some interesting wines and have some lively discussions. There is usually a theme; so far these have ranged from wines from one country, old vs new world, organic or from one outlet. The wines are scored and an average taken, it has been surprising how our tastes all differ and also how useful it has been to taste unusual varieties.
As we meet in member’s homes, numbers are limited and the group is currently full. However if you are interested in joining a wine appreciation group, please contact The GroupSupport Team. It may be that if there is sufficient interest it will be possible to establish a new group, which we would be delighted to help get established.
