Tea Duty Information for Group Leaders

At the end of each Tuesday Live meeting members are offered tea or coffee and biscuits.   We ask members from one of the Activity Groups to undertake this non arduous duty.  In the interest of fairness Groups take it in turns and currently this means that each Group does this once about every five years.

The Secretary will initially inform Group Leaders several months in advance when it is their turn and then remind them about four weeks before the meeting.

Our average audience for a normal meeting is around 100 but we do not know exact numbers until the day. Three or four people are sufficient to serve these numbers. At our Christmas Party meeting in December we can have upto 200 people so we either have two Groups or one Group that has a lot of members.

If you anticipate difficulties for your Group being able to assist (e.g. you have a very small Group or a lot of your members will be away that day) please advise the Secretary as soon as possible so that we can organise some help or make alternative arrangements.
